Renewable energy projects - two Wind Parks in Cyprus
WINCONO Cyprus Ltd, an entity owned 50-50 by German and Cypriot wind energy developers, has appointed DKA to work out a corporate financial plan to outline the corporate structure to be used in funding the first two projects (now ready for implementation) and other future projects in the sector of wind energy.

In addition, Mr. Kittis was asked to undertake Government and Public Authority outreach to overcome various licensing and related issues to meet the requirements of international financiers.

Finally, Mr. Kittis is taking an active and leading role in the identification of major investment funds in Europe and elsewhere to ensure suitable and favourable long-term finance (20 years) with a significant element of leasing.

The negotiations were successfully concluded in November 2006.

A contract to help develop a financing package for renewable energy projects
DKA has signed a contract with a group of German investors, to develop a financial package for the acquisition of renewable energy projects in Cyprus. The 100 million Euro package will cover installation, procurement and commissioning in wind energy and photovoltaic technologies.

The project has just started and it is now in the planning stage, incorporating local financing institutions and major European banking and investment holding institutions.
